Sistemas Genomicos is participating in LIFE Project. This is a project funded by INNPRONTA call (IPT-20111027 LIFE) with a total budget of 13M\u20ac. LIFE aims are the research, application and development of new techniques and products, besides the optimization of the available resources to address the public health and social problem of breast cancer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Approached from a global and multidisciplinary perspective, the project expects to optimize the whole process involved in detection, diagnostics and treatment of breast cancer, with the purpose of developing an integral system adapted to the personalized tumour characteristics, advancing toward personalized medicine.<\/p>\n

LIFE will provide the improvement of the sanitary process focussed on the multidisciplinary support to the functional Brest units, and aims to increase the percentage of early diagnoses and the quality of the treatments, and also decrease the collateral effects thereby improving life quality and survival of the breast cancer patients.<\/p>\n
